The iOS app
The Civic Forges app for iPhone and iPad collects no data. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and makes no network requests. Every city you build is stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes your cities.
The app uses the system share sheet when you choose to share a city's standing; what you share, and with whom, is entirely your choice and goes through iOS, not through us.
The web version
Playing at civicforges.com works without an account and saves to your browser. If you choose to create an account for cloud saves, we store a username, a salted password hash, and your saved cities on Cloudflare infrastructure. Sessions use an HTTP-only cookie. We collect nothing else, and we never sell or share this data.
You can delete a cloud city at any time from Your Cities. To delete an account and everything attached to it, email the address below and it is removed within seven days.
Children
Civic Forges is a general-audience game and does not knowingly collect information from children.
